A record of voluntary work or work experience would also be helpful, but most important of all is your commitment to the subject.
What does the course involve?
Students will cover areas including fashion, photography, textiles, graphic design, sculpture, product design, painting and drawing to name but a few. You will work with visiting artists and designers on projects that will enable you to develop a unique portfolio of work and forge a career in your chosen subject area.What option will be open to me if I successfully complete the course? Upon successful completion of this course, students can progress onto university to study a range of multi-disciplinary degrees from 3D model making to fine art and many other options. Employment opportunities include junior design work, fine art practice and photographic practice. Knowledgeable and helpful staff will be able to give you support when making decisions regarding your future. The majority of student’s progress to university and you will be expertly guided through the UCAS application process and supported to prepare a competitive portfolio for interview. Previous students have gone on to study at Central St Martins, London College of Communication and Manchester to study a diverse range of courses from game design to fashion to vehicle design.
